Sticky Back Plastic film is the long established self-adhesive film widely used for the protection of books, pictures, documents and maps. In fact it can be used for any material that has constant handling. It will benefit greatly if covered with this film as it provides the perfect barrier to water, dirt and grease. Sticky Back Plastic film will not discolour with age. The special delayed action adhesive is excellent for repositioning on most surfaces. Once it is correctly positioned a strong bond develops within 48 hours, after which time the bond becomes permanent. This 'Standard' film is highly stable, manufactured in 50 micron material and has a silicone release backing sheet printed with grids - a useful aid when cutting the film.
